Nadia Bartel breaks her silence about why her Henne brand was axed from this year’s Australian Fashion Week as she attends show with Rebecca Judd
Nadia Bartel has finally revealed why her brand Henne will not be included in this year’s Australian Fashion Week.
Questions were raised when the Melbourne influencer’s popular womenswear label was left out of this year’s line-up, despite being the most popular event scheduled for 2023.
Nadia finally addressed the confusion on Tuesday when she arrived at Sydney’s Machine Hall to watch Michael Le Sordo’s show.
Speaking to photographers outside, the former footy WAG revealed she was simply too busy setting up Henne’s new boutique in Paddington, Sydney, to host a fashion show.
“We try to focus our energy on the store,” Nadia said, adding, “We’re such a small team, so we can’t do everything.”

Meanwhile, Nadia, who was once married to AFL’s Jimmy Bartel, dressed to impress as she attended the VIP fashion show with Melbourne WAG Rebecca Judd.
Showing off her incredible physique and dark spray tan, Nadia wore a figure-hugging white satin mini dress with a sassy cutout above the crotch.

Henne first appeared at the 2022 Fashion Week debut before returning the following year.

Earlier this month, Nadia announced via Instagram that she is opening a new Henne boutique in Sydney.
Nadia gave a tour of the property, located in the trendy fashion district of Paddington, and showed off the ongoing renovations to the storefront.
“If you haven’t heard yet, we’re coming to Sydney @henne_, here’s the first look inside,” she wrote in her caption.
‘I can’t wait to take you through the process. Let me know what you would like to see with construction.”
It will be the second physical boutique for Nadia’s fashion label, with another store in Melbourne’s Prahran.
In November, Nadia also shared a huge career update, teasing plans for the brand’s global expansion.
“There are some exciting things coming,” she told Daily Mail Australia at The Birdcage during the Melbourne Cup.
‘We’re very busy at the moment… Yes [we have plans to go global] … We’ve seen some big people wearing the brand, which has been so exciting.”
