Mystery as mom-of-two, 23, suddenly vanishes with her daughters, 1 and 2 – as cops reveal chilling theory

A mother of two has mysteriously disappeared with her two young daughters, with police revealing a chilling theory about their disappearance.

Martha Unger, 23, and her daughters — two-year-old Madilynn Grace Unger and one-year-old Haylie Faith Unger — went missing from their home in rural Haskell County, Kansas, around 7 p.m. Friday.

Just a few hours later, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation issued an “endangered persons advisory” for the mother and her children.

The agency subsequently released its theory about the mother’s disappearance, saying she “may have been forced to travel to Mexico with Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen to a religious rehabilitation center.”

It is unclear how Unger knew the Klaasens and to which ‘religious rehabilitation clinic’ in Mexico the middle-aged couple takes her.

However, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation says it wants to “verify the welfare of Martha and her children” and asks anyone with information about their whereabouts to “call 911 immediately.”

A family member also posted on Facebook saying she is “praying that Martha and the girls will be home soon.”

“If anyone is willing, please keep my brother and his family in your prayers,” a friend said wrote on saturday.

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation believes Unger was “forced” to travel to Mexico by Corney and Elizabeth Klaasen (pictured)

Unger is described as a white female who is approximately five feet tall and weighs approximately 120 pounds. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Her children have blond hair and blue eyes.

She is believed to be driving a white 2015 Ford Explorer with Kansas license plate 301RJY.

The Klaasens are now both in their fifties.

Corney was described as being approximately six feet tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds.

He is “clean shaven” and was last seen wearing jeans and a button-up shirt.

No description of Elizabeth Klaasen has been provided, but a photo of the couple shared by the KBI appears to be a white woman with brown hair and dark glasses.

The Klaasens may be driving a black and white Chevy Blazer with Mexico tags.
