A woman mysteriously disappeared while on vacation in the Victorian Alps after a video call with a friend.

Lillian, 48, from Cheltenham in Melbourne’s south-east, called her mate at around 7.30pm on Saturday but has not been heard from since.

While on the phone, she informed her friend that she was planning a day trip in the Bright area near Mount Buffalo National Park and Mount Hotham.

However, her family and friends are now deeply concerned for her well-being, as she has not been seen or heard from since, and police say her behavior is “out of character.”
