Myleene Klass reveals she turns to her teen daughters when things get too much because they are ‘so across it when it comes to mental health’

Myleene Klass has said she turns to her teenage daughters when she is struggling to cope.

The former Hear’Say singer, 46, has daughters Ava, 16, and Hero, 13, with former husband Graham Quinn and explained that she thinks it’s “brilliant” that her children are so well informed when it comes to spiritual health.

She told MailOnline: ‘When things get over my head I have to show my daughters why I feel this way.

‘They are so vocal about mental health and it’s brilliant to see.

“I just think they know they have to show how they feel and they’re very interested in what they have to do.”

The I’m A Celebrity…South Africa winner – who is now engaged to Simon Motson and has son Apollo, four with him – returned to her place on the Loose Women panel earlier this year after more than a decade away .

She explained that so much has happened to her on the ITV show that she feels both she and the audience have grown since her first stint.

She added: “The last time I was there I didn’t have a son. I didn’t have a fiancé, and I think with all the changes in my life – I have two teenagers now – I have different things to draw on.

‘I have different experiences myself. It’s a very interesting program because it definitely grows with you and you also grow with the viewers.

Meanwhile, Myleene has teamed up with Nutella to celebrate their 60th anniversary with The Smile Cafe, and thinks the concept of families going ‘back to basics’ at the device-free outlet is exactly what’s needed in the age of social media.

She said: ‘Every generation has its stamps, doesn’t it? Well, just like Nutella, the idea is that you can put down all the devices, go to an interactive café where you can sit and play interactive games together… of all ages.

‘I think it’s very important.

‘I can only cook a few things, and one of them is pancakes! But all I want to do is get the message out, because right now there are a lot of parents who are thinking, ‘What am I going to do?! ‘

“And besides, it’s just fun to say, like I say, come on down, and the history has been incredible over the last sixty years.”

The Smile Café is open from May 30 to June 1, 2024 and is located in Greek Street, London.

Opening hours are 11:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Thursday), 10:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Friday) and 11:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Saturday). There will also be limited availability for walk-ins on the day itself.
