Myer hires Lara Worthington for a new summer fashion campaign to attract young, savvy customers

Lara Worthington has become known as a fashion icon.

And Myer is banking on the beauty to bring in young consumers, the Daily telegram reported on Sunday.

The model, 36, has become the face of Myer’s spring-summer campaign, hoping she will be a draw for the department store, just as she has been for labels Atoir and Local Supply.

Lara models items from Country Road, Witchery, Ralph Lauren and Basque as part of the performance.

Fashion commentator Kellie Hush told the publication that Lara has a unique appeal.

“She’s the girl next door who lives a global lifestyle and wears the most incredible fashion,” she said.

“But she’s just as amazing in jeans and a T-shirt running after her boys,” Hush continued.

It comes after Lara shocked fans earlier this month when she unveiled her new edgy hairstyle.

The blonde beauty splits her time in New York and Sydney with husband Sam Worthington and their three children.
