My Tesla was taken on 110mph joyride by rogue airport parking firm while blasting Beyonce

My Tesla was taken on a 110 mph joyride by rogue airport parking company while shooting Beyonce while on vacation…that’s how I found out

  • Jemma Whitfield, 39, and husband Scott, 41, were in Rome for her birthday
  • Car’s app revealed that a worker drove 100 miles while shooting the singer

A rogue airport parking company took a customer’s Tesla on a 110 mph joyride while Beyonce blasted at full volume.

Jemma Whitfield, 39, and husband Scott, 41, were holidaying in Rome for her birthday when the car’s app on their phone showed it unlocked.

It revealed that a worker drove an astounding 100 miles while shooting the Crazy in Love singer.

And they soon learned that the car – worth £55,000 – was parked in a busy car park eight miles from where they thought it was at Bristol Airport.

At his peak in Formula 1, he was clocked at 109 mph. It was a raggedy ride,” Jemma from Truro, Cornwall, told me the sun.

“We even know through the app that he blasted Beyonce on the radio.

“It’s incredible – not only because the car belongs to someone else and should be treated with respect, but also because it is very dangerous.”

During the wild journey, the driver was driving at a constant 160 km/h, despite driving on roads with a 50 km/h limit.

And to make matters worse, they didn’t even charge the car after using it – forcing Jemma and Scott to stop for gas on the way home.

Looking4Parking – a ‘meet and greet’ service recommended by Ryanair – says it has suspended the service pending an investigation. They are also in talks with the provider about compensation, the Sun reports.

Ryanair said: ‘It is unacceptable that Car Park Bristol has not delivered the promised services booked by this passenger and we are working with this meet and greet service provider to ensure this does not happen again.’

A spokesperson for Looking4Parking added: ‘Looking4Parking is an independent company wholly separate from Bristol Airport and we have no control over the services they provide.

‘For your peace of mind, we recommend that passengers use one of the Bristol Airport car parks on site. All our car parks are on site, equipped with camera surveillance, automatic number plate recognition and are served by a free bus to and from the terminal that runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

“Passengers can guarantee their vehicle will be parked on site in an official Bristol Airport car park by booking through our website.”

Bristol Airport has been contacted for comment.
