My neighbour painted their fence… now look at the state of MY side

A TikToker was left stunned after her neighbor painted their side of the fence, leaving a complete mess on the other side of the woods.

The fence separating the two gardens was only 18 months old and the woman said she had no plans to change the wood tone she was used to.

But after the neighbor’s bright white paint seeped through the panels, the woman was left unsure whether to confront her neighbor.

Shonagh, known on TikTok as @itsmamnotmum, shared the mess with her thousands of followers, saying: ‘The neighbors have painted their fence… but look at the state of us!!’

The TikToker, known online for sharing life advice and tips, added: “Would you like to say something!?”

The now-viral video shows the woman’s tan fence splattered from top to bottom with white paint.

Since the video was posted, it has been viewed 90,000 times and received hundreds of likes.

The half-painted fence, which spans the TikToker’s entire garden, certainly stands out.

TikTokers flooded the comments with extremely mixed opinions. Some furious users advised the woman to take revenge by painting her side of the fence with distinguishable colors.

“I would paint over it brown and do the same on their side LOL,” one user wrote.

The resident was unsure whether she should confront the neighbor, but users are divided on whether she has the right to be annoyed

“Only one thing to do: bright neon paint on your side,” another added.

While other users, standing up for the neighbor, claimed the woman had no right to be angry because the fence didn’t appear to be on her side.

One person wrote: ‘It’s their fence considering the direction it’s facing. They can do what they like. I suggest you just paint your side with the same paint.”

Another user agreed: ‘Personally I would just ask them what paint they used so I could match it. Life’s too short to fight about things like this.’

To which the furious TikToker wrote: ‘Well I wasn’t planning on painting ours and it’s a really bright paint too, if it’s sunny you’ll need glasses!’
