My neighbour blocks me in every day as he hates how ‘loud’ my car is – people say it’s enough to get him towed

  • TikTok user @donovannnn_80 took to the platform to express his frustration

A car owner has expressed his anger at a neighbor who allegedly blocked him on purpose because he hates the noise from his car.

Donovan, who regularly posts about cars on his TikTok account under the name @donovannn_80, is involved in a heated parking row with his neighbor.

In a video from August 2022, a white BMW appears extremely close to its own Lexus.

This was accompanied by a text on the screen that read: ‘My neighbor is complaining about the noise from my car. So he parks like this every day.”

“I try to be the bigger person. But I’m not sure how much longer I can do that,” it added.

Donovan showed why the problem was difficult for him to solve, as he could not walk through the space between the two vehicles.

Seeking advice from his viewers, he asked, “What would you do in my situation?”

Many took the opportunity to respond by pointing out that he could have the perpetrator’s car towed away free of charge because it was illegally parked.

One user wrote: ‘Have it towed, it’s not parked legally.’

Another commented, “If you have a reserved spot, call a tow truck and have his car taken away.”

A third advised Donovan to “just call and have the car towed at his expense.”

A fourth added: ‘Take pictures and show them to property management.’

Others were more drastic with their responses, with another user urging him to ‘pull the valve cap off the tire, place a pebble in it and twist it back on until you hear a bit of air’.

A fellow viewer joked: ‘Those tires look a bit over-inflated, help the man out.’

This follows a similar incident in September 2023 where a homeowner sparked a debate after revealing her neighbors continue to park in her driveway.

Writing on the parenting platform, Mothernetthe woman explained that she had asked them to remove their car, but they had refused.

The message read: ‘I own the house and it has a driveway. There is a rental company next to me. New people moved in maybe two or three months ago. It appears to be a mother and four of her male children who appear to be in their early twenties.

“They have repeatedly parked their car in my driveway and been told to stop several times. They work on the cars in my driveway and I’m pretty sure my insurance won’t cover them if they get hurt on my property in the process.”

She continued, “Today I broke up with one of the grown men. I told him to get his car out of my driveway. He just stood there and argued with me. Then the others came out and started arguing with me. If I had been a man, they wouldn’t have stood there and argued with me.

The original poster added, “Some asked how they could argue that they could park in my driveway.

“Cheeky bastards have a crazy title. So many young men are entitled and not used to being told no.

‘They argued that I don’t have a car (I do). They argued that we hadn’t cut our backyard a few times.

“They argued that they have valuable XL bullies that are worth more than both of our houses. They argued that they do not have a driveway and therefore needed one to work on their car. My response to all this is that I didn’t care and it wasn’t my problem.’
