My Husband Ruined Our Gender Reveal And I Acted Like A Brat And “Raged” In Front Of Everyone — But Here’s Why Other Moms Say I’m Not To Blame

- Woman says her husband ‘ruined’ the surprise by releasing confetti too early
A gender reveal party doesn’t go as planned for a couple when a husband “ruins” the surprise.
Emma and Mitchell Miller, from the US, organized the event to reveal the gender of their unborn child with family and friends.
The excited parents-to-be stood in front of a huge “baby” sign decorated with pink and blue balloons. They also both held confetti poppers.
The smiling couple began counting down from three before revealing the baby’s gender.
Immediately after the last number someone shouted ‘wait!’ but Mitch popped his confetti before Emma had a chance.
Emma was unimpressed by her husband jumping the gun and throwing a tantrum in footage that has since gone viral on TikTok.

In the videocan be heard asking Mitch, “Why did you go?”, before throwing the confetti popper at his arm and then walking off in a huff.
Mitch on the other hand was left amazed at what he had done wrong.
“When your husband doesn’t get the gender reveal right, and your pregnancy hormones start raging in front of everyone,” Emma captioned the eight-second clip.
After three days, the video has been viewed a whopping 5.8 million times, with many claiming that the person who said “wait” was the culprit, not Mitchell.
Emma also shared photos of the moment and couldn’t help but laugh at the situation looking back.
“If your husband doesn’t get the gender reveal right, and your pregnancy hormones start raging in front of everyone,” Emma captioned a TikTok video. She can be seen throwing the confetti popper at her husband before walking away, with Mitch looking puzzled
“I’m definitely on your side no matter what, because pregnancy… but I also blame the person who said ‘no wait,'” one woman wrote.
“I would have done the same,” another commented, a third said, “Poor man was just excited, but also the same.”
Others criticized Emma for acting so childishly.
“Run, boy,” one man said, another added, “He deserves better.”
Mothers, however, were all too in touch with the behavior, saying that pregnancy hormones can often take charge of how a person acts.
Sometimes the hormones take over. I’m pretty sure he didn’t take it to heart!’ said one.
“This is one reason why I wanted to know the gender privately with my husband,” added another.
