She said: 'I knew it was coming. Yes, I had been pursuing him to propose to me after six years of being together, and it seemed like we were finally going to take a step forward in our relationship, all the way to our wedding day. '
The bride explained that her husband completely embarrassed her on her special day – the day she was supposed to feel her best and “most beautiful.”
“After the wedding vows were taken, we were escorted to the stage where there was a loveseat,” she continued.
'My husband asked me to sit down first and as I did so I heard the ripping sound of a fart. Followed by laughter as he teased me. It was a joke, there was a fart machine that was so loud everyone could hear it.
'At first I was in shock, then in denial and completely bewildered by the tears I was trying to hold back.'
She added that after the wedding day she felt completely let down, especially after planning the entire day and choosing the “perfect dress” all by herself.

One person said: 'If you have to chase someone down to ask you to marry them, they're probably not the person you should marry.'
Someone else wrote: 'How can he make up for it? Relive the entire wedding without a fart? Louder farts? He wasn't as involved in the wedding as you were and chased it for six years? I know you CAN do better.”
Another said: 'Partners who laugh at the humiliation and humiliation of their partners cannot make up for it. I've never understood these kinds of mean jokes, where you genuinely hurt other people's feelings just to say, “Gotcha!”

If your man is so immature that he can't comprehend it, he's a boy who needs to do more as he grows up, to mature. Respectful and considerate though,” someone else said.
“Poor woman,” one Redditor added.
'It's only a joke/joke if BOTH parties find it funny. He should have apologized immediately,” a sixth person wrote.
