My breasts are so small I don’t wear a bra to work – colleagues tell me it’s ‘inappropriate’ but they would never tell men that

A woman has revealed that she never wears a bra to work because she has small breasts, but was questioned by colleagues about whether or not it’s “appropriate.”

Milly Samways, 22, from Cambridge posted a video to TikTok last summer, which has now resurfaced, to gauge her followers’ views on the subject.

The young professional explained that she believes her ensemble was appropriate, saying “if it’s a nipple thing, guys have nipples,” adding that she’s never asked to cover up.

The clip, which has been viewed more than 12,000 times, was captioned: “Bras at work???”

In the video, which was filmed during a heat wave in the UK, Milly showed off her green bodycon dress she had paired with black sandals.

She said: ‘I just need a few opinions to be honest, if you live in the UK at the moment it’s about 30 degrees obviously it’s very hot.

Angled the camera to show off her full ensemble, she continued, “I showed up at work wearing this.

‘Fine, appropriate. And someone at my office just said to me, “Do you think it’s appropriate that you don’t wear a bra today?”

‘Hun, I’m part of the itty bitty t**** committee. Nothing falls out here,” she stressed.

Milly looked to her female followers for opinions and support and asked if the comment counted as discrimination.

She continued, “Girls, do you think it’s acceptable to be discriminated against… that I’m not wearing a bra? It makes no difference.

Milly Samways, 22, from Cambridge, revealed that her colleague asked her if she thinks it’s appropriate not to wear a bra to work, but she argued she has a small chest

Many rushed to the comments to reassure Milly that her colleague was actually wrong to comment on her body

“If it’s a nipple thing or whatever, guys have nipples, guys don’t wear bras. I have nipples, you can’t even see my nipples, sort it out.’

Many rushed to the comments to reassure Milly that her colleague was actually wrong to comment on her body.

One person wrote: ‘There’s no problem with that!! They shouldn’t even be looking.’

Another said, ‘I can’t believe they said that! Who cares!’

While another wrote, ‘They shouldn’t have stared at your chest! I wouldn’t see a problem with it at all. I know some organizations still enforce stupid dress codes.’

A fourth said, “They’re inappropriate, it’s none of their business.”
