A Hooters waitress accused of cheering on the brutal murder of a 23-year-old man who was bludgeoned to death with a baseball bat has asked a judge to lower her bail so she can pay it with funds from her OnlyFans account.
Ashley Esselborn, 21, asked a Texas judge to reduce her bail from $100,000 to $50,000, an amount she said she could probably cover with the money from her daring account. She charges $12 per month for subscribers who want access to her X-rated content.
Esselborn told the court that she had at least $8,000 in the account just from her nude photos, but that all of her funds had been frozen and that she had contacted the company OnlyFans to access them.
The waitress reportedly applauded as Payton Collier, 27, Ronnie Lang, 18, and William Bell, 28, beat Zachary Wood with their fists, feet and a bat at their Wichita Falls home. All four were charged with first degree felony murder.

Esselborn is accused of being present during the murder of Zachary Wood last May, which police described as “a mass bloodshed event”. She was charged with first degree murder.
The group allegedly attacked Wood because they thought he had stolen drugs and money from them while they were at his home.
Collier told police that in addition to encouraging the beating, Esselborn yelled at Wood as he was being beaten and demanded to know where the stolen items were.
His bail had previously been reduced from $1 million in the spring, and the judge denied the latest request for reduction.

Payton Collier, 27 (left) and Ronnie Lang, 18. Collier remains behind bars, with Collier serving a 50-year sentence after confessing to Wood’s murder in September.
William Bell, 28, and Ashley Esselborn, 21. Bell is currently on $200,000 bond.
It is not clear if Esselborn participated in the beating or simply encouraged the attack.
She admitted to police that she was present during the attack and helped dispose of the bloody items afterward, and Collier corroborated that story, saying he stayed out of it.
However, investigators said a witness told them he heard Esselborn boast over the phone that she had not been arrested and had participated in the attack on Wood.
Lang pleaded guilty to the murder in September and is serving a 50-year sentence. Bell was released on $200,000 bail and Lang remains behind bars on $500,000 bail. All of the remaining defendants have been offered plea deals.
