A mum’s lunchbox failure has left hundreds of people in hysterics after her ‘cute’ snack didn’t turn out as she expected.
The woman tried to create a character with her kiwi by adding edible eyes.
“My daughter is having a hard time adjusting to school, so I started adding little bits and pieces to brighten up her lunchbox (notes, love hearts, silly faces) as something she could look forward to,” the mom shared on Facebook .
However, her idea took a turn when her daughter returned the fruit uneaten.

“I thought it would be a good idea to put a pair of cake decorating eyes in a kiwi,” she explained.
“I was wrong, it wasn’t a good idea and now the house is haunted,” the mother joked.
Once her daughter removed the candy eyes and ate them, the remaining fruit just looked too creepy to eat.
The mother said she might stick to post-it notes next time to avoid another unintentional horror.
“This will be the last time I bring some fruit to life,” she said.

A few suggested sticking with regular shapes like hearts or stars, and looking at edible glitter instead.
Many other parents couldn’t stop laughing at the funny sight.
“That’s hilarious – sorry about the haunted house,” said one mother.
“Oh my god, that’s terrifying!” said another.
“I’m going to do this to make my boys laugh tomorrow,” another mom shared.
