A mother has come under fire for an “inappropriate” outfit she chose to pick up her son from school, but others disagree.

“I was going to pick up my son from school and my husband told me that this outfit was inappropriate,” she captioned the video.
The outfit in question was a simple summer ensemble, featuring a crop top with off-the-shoulder milk sleeves and a miniskirt.
The crop top also had a tie at the front that could shorten the fabric by cinching it in the middle.
But after her husband’s grumpy tone, Elaine quickly changed into a long black dress with long sleeves.
She went back to her husband, wondering if he would approve of her new outfit.
‘Honey, I changed my clothes,’ he told her. ‘What do you think?’
Mikey then nodded and smiled, considering his new choice more suited to the activity.
He then added, “Passed, ready for mom to pick up.”
Many criticized Elaine for wanting to venture into the orange summer ensemble.
‘Your husband is right, you should dress your age,’ said an angry woman. It is a set for a bar.
‘She respects her husband’s opinion, so she changed. Obviously she knew he would say something which is why she made the video for herself,” another wrote.
