Melanie Wilmoth from the US has left millions online in stitches after sharing her hilarious online shopping fail
The mom ordered a pair of jeans from Shein, but was shocked when she tried them on to find the legs were so long they looked like they had “fins.”
Melanie bought a pair of ‘stacked’ skinny jeans from online fast fashion retailer Shein.
I knew the legs would be longer since the pants are made to be trimmed so that they are gathered at the bottom.
However, when she received her package, she was amused to discover that the flared legs went well below her toes.
The funny video of the mother has been viewed 30.2 million times and many compare her to a diver.
“Scuba Steve but make it denim,” one viewer wrote as another laughed: “She has fins lol.”
One woman said the jeans were giving off ‘mermaid vibes’ and a second joked she looked ‘ready for swim practice’
“I laughed so hard I accidentally woke up my kids,” another replied.
‘The pants were made for a giraffe,’ someone said.
Others weren’t convinced the bug was a dud, saying if you twisted them at the ankle they would look “just like the picture.”
“You got exactly what you asked for,” one user noted.
Many thought that the fashion failure was hysterical, but some said that jeans needed to be lifted. Melanie demonstrated that they were still too long in a follow-up clip where she called them “sticky.”
“Girl, pull up your pants and you’ll literally be the picture,” a second agreed.
But Melanie wouldn’t let him, insisting that the jeans are still “too long” even with the extra legroom pulled up.
“You literally put your shoes on and crease the way you want them to look, but at the end of the day I don’t have to like this, this looks a little tacky and too much,” she said in a follow-up. upload clip.
“There are other stacked jeans out there that look better than this one, and these are too big.”
