Mum pushing her baby in a pram is mauled by a pack of dogs – and it’s not the first time they’ve attacked
A mother pushing her baby in a stroller was attacked by a pack of dogs in Melbourne.
The woman was taken to hospital by paramedics after they chased the animals away. People ran to her aid when they heard her screams.
“(There was) blood everywhere – legs, ankles, arms, elbows, hands. It was just not something you want to see on a Friday afternoon,” Mark Jackson told 7News.
The seriously injured woman is now recovering in the Alfred Hospital.
Locals say the same dogs are still roaming free in Sunbury and they claim they were the animals that attacked a 71-year-old woman nearby on Thursday.
She was also seriously injured when three dogs attacked her, biting her on her face, legs and back.
Two men who helped the elderly woman were slightly injured.
Police believed rangers had seized the dogs after Thursday’s attack, but Hume County Council said they could not do so because they did not have a court order.
