Mum of six claims she hasn’t ‘lost a sock’ in months – here’s how she keeps her kids’ pairs together
- A mother has revealed her ‘genius’ hack
- She claims it will save you from strange socks
A busy mom of six claims she hasn’t lost a sock in months and shared her simple trick for keeping the pairs together.
The Sydney mom hack is so simple that anyone can do it and has been described by many as “genius.”
She just makes sure to put both dirty socks in a laundry bag before putting them in the machine.
The mom posted a photo of her wash station on a popular Kmart hack page and admitted that one day she was “tired of matching socks.”
So she gave each of her children a delicate laundry bag and told them to put their socks and underwear in it.

The bags are all labelled, making it easier for her to sort the laundry as it comes out of the machine.
“I have endless stacks of single socks, and I was tired of matching socks and also remembering who’s whose,” she said.
The simple trick earned the mom tons of compliments.
“Genius, I have four girls and they can never find a pair of socks and I have two laundry baskets full of socks and jockstraps,” said one mother.
Another claimed that the mother was her “hero” because despite having six children, she still had enough energy to come up with great ideas.
The mother has previously earned respect after revealing that she puts her children’s clothes on hangers straight from the washing machine.
She does this so they can go straight into their closets – instead of onto a giant pile of laundry.
