A mum has divided opinion after sharing her 'useful' school lunchbox hack, with parents across the world slamming her 'careless' move.
The Australian woman shared a photo of her children's lunch boxes, packed with croissants, cookies, fruit, vegetables and homemade flavored milk.
“I package flavored milk in old plum juice bottles, which I think fit well in both small and large lunch boxes,” she captioned the image on Facebook.
Many were quick to point out that the mother sending glass bottles to school with her children was a recipe for disaster – with even one teacher claiming it was a 'terrible' idea and recommending plastic bottles instead.
“I once had a student bring in a glass bottle,” she said. 'It smashed everywhere. You only have to give a little tap and there will be glass and milk everywhere.'

Others had similar criticisms, wondering why the mother would take the risk when there were plenty of child-proof milk bottles in the supermarket.
'Children with glass??' someone asked. 'Another fine looking lunch.'
“The problem with school is that it's easy to bump into and break,” says another.
“No matter how careful a child is, accidents can and will happen,” one parent wrote.
Some claimed that “everyone” shouldn't worry about broken glass because it's happened to someone.
“If everyone changed their behavior because of something that happened to someone else, we would live in a highly structured world with no personal freedoms,” one person said. 'Cafes and restaurants continue to use glass bottles and cups.'
One mother added: 'I agree. My daughter drank from a glass and used real eight-month-old plates. She never threw or dropped them. Some children can handle glass just fine.'

Others pointed out that it was impossible to explain every accident.
One wrote: 'Oh my god. What if that cucumber falls on the ground and someone steps on it, slips, hits their head and suffers a brain injury!
'We cannot allow children to take anything to school in case an accident happens. Wait, what if someone trips over our child? We will have to keep our children at home, wrapped in cotton wool.'
'In the past, all milk came in glass bottles and was delivered to schools, but there is no problem here. The people who are complaining are the same kind of people who made it necessary for a package of nuts to have a warning that it contains nuts,” said one woman.
