The first thing Chantel said to do is mix one cup of Glitz Baking Soda with one-third of a cup of Glitz Dishwashing Liquid.

You can buy a kilogram of Glitz cleaning baking soda from buns for only $8.75, while two liters of the dishwashing liquid from the same store will cost you just $9.99.

“Put this in your oven and let the mixture sit for about two hours to soften the baked-on fat,” Chantel said.

Once this is done, you should use a Oates Scraper Blade ($6.99) to “gently remove any burnt-on mess.”

“This scraper blade is amazing for easily cutting through tough dirt and can be used on glass and tile around the home,” Chantel said.

Following this, the mother-of-two said she just needs to wipe off any ‘excess mix’ and ‘finish by lining the oven with a Stir-fry oven lining‘.

These are $19.99 for a pack of 20.

The reason they work is because “any mess falls onto the liner which is dishwasher safe for easy washing.”

This prevents your oven from caked with oil, dirt and grime.

In another video, Chantel showed how to clean disgusting oven racks by placing them in the bathroom.

“Cover the tub with a towel and submerge the oven racks in very hot water,” she said.

Chantel then dissolves a tablespoon of laundry detergent in water and pours that mixture onto the oven racks in the tub.

Then all you need to do is soak the grates overnight and clean them in the morning.
