The scene is still active, according to the New Mexico State Police. Officials have not released the cause of the shooting.

It was originally reported by the Albuquerque Journal that the shooting happened at the Motherlode Saloon in Red River, but the bar took to Facebook to deny it, confirming that the serious incident did not take place there.

More than 25,000 motorcyclists were expected in the city for the rally this weekend.
