Multiple injured after Lego display collapses at Massachusetts arcade

Emergency crews responded to a Lego display collage at a Massachusetts arcade that injured several people.

According to their Facebook page, In The Game on Lowell Street in Peabody hosted a “Noon Year’s Eve Celebration” Tuesday afternoon.

When employees tried to perform the balloon drop for the event, a Lego display fell on spectators, fire officials said NBC Boston.

The demonstration targeted about 12 people, resulting in minor injuries to 10 of them, the Peabody fire chief said.

Eight people were taken to local hospitals and two refused to go. The ages of the victims are unknown.
