Several children have been injured after a car reportedly hit them at a primary school in Melbourne’s Hawthorn East.
It is understood the driver suffered a medical episode before plowing through the fence of Auburn South Primary School on Tooronga Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Ambulance Victoria said emergency services are at the scene but no further information is available.
“Our priority now is our patients and we have no confirmed information on the ground at this early stage,” a spokesperson said.
“We will provide information as it becomes available.”
Victoria Police confirmed it was aware of the incident.
