The 74-year-old, who began her career by launching her own real estate agency in her early 20s and has since built an estimated net worth of $100 million, took to TikTok to share some advice with an employee trying to get paid more.
The real estate magnate encouraged her more than 1.1 million followers to demand a pay raise if they took on more responsibility.
Barbara said that if you want to make more money, go to your boss with a list of tasks you have taken on.

“Hey, do you want a raise? I’m a boss and I’m going to tell you how,” said the Shark Tank entrepreneur.
Barbara noted that if you’ve done more than when you were initially hired, you deserve a raise.
She then went on to explain exactly what to do when asking for a raise.
“Make an appointment with your boss and bring your list of new responsibilities and show them how you earn it,” she explained.
The real estate magnate then commented that you shouldn’t “believe” your boss when he says there is “no budget.”
“Somebody gets that money in their pocket, somebody else,” she said at the end of the clip.
