Biaggio Ali Walsh, the 24-year-old son of one of history’s greatest boxers, Muhammad Ali, took his amateur career to 4-1 on Friday night.
In Atlanta on Friday, Ali Walsh was able to easily beat local product Travell Miller in the first round with a brutal knockout.
With 1:39 left in the first round, Ali Walsh was able to return Miller to the edge of the octagon with a flurry of punches.
He completed the job by landing a combination – interrupted by a vicious left hook – that sent Miller to the ground before the referee stepped in to stop proceedings.
After losing his first ever amateur MMA fight, Ali Walsh has won his last four straight fights.

Ali Walsh is the grandson of the late Muhammad Ali – one of the greatest boxers of all time
Ali Walsh – who was registered for Friday’s fight at 5 feet 10 inches and 155 pounds – was victorious on his debut with the PFL, a mixed martial arts secondary circuit.
While fighting is in the blood of the family, Biaggio decided to take a different path from his grandfather and his brother Nico, who is also a boxer.
“I was just more attracted to MMA,” Biaggio said The sports news. “I never really thought about boxing.
“Obviously I grew up in a boxing family and watched the sport. But I became a fan of MMA and the UFC when I was a freshman in high school.
“It caught my attention more. I really fell in love with the idea of multiple martial arts playing a part in a fight.
“That you don’t just have to punch someone, but you can kick someone in the leg, kick someone in the head, use twisting elbows, knock people down and wrestle.
“You could do multiple things, have guns and options for those guns.”
Prior to his fighting career, Ali Walsh played college football for two years with Cal Berkeley before eventually transferring to UNLV.
Although most of the fighters in his family have stayed with boxing, Biaggio took a different path
Despite taking a different path through the world of martial arts, Biaggio clearly sees his late grandfather as someone to look up to.
“He is an inspiration to millions of people around the world, including myself,” he said CNN this week.
“I don’t think you get an icon very often as a family member… he’s been a superhero to me since I was a little kid.”
But just because he comes from one of the most prestigious bloodlines in all of fighting doesn’t mean everything will be easy for him.
“I will always have a target on my back,” Biaggio told The Sporting News.
“My brother is a professional boxer, he will always have a target on his back. Just being who we are at birth is busy. I’ve been used to haters since I was a freshman in high school. It’s always been a comparison between me and my grandfather, even when I played football, a totally different sport. “Oh, you are the first to run back because you are Muhammad Ali’s grandson.”
Walsh lost his first amateur fight by submission, but has been undefeated ever since.
