Magic‘S Modern horizons 3 This year promises to be a milestone, especially since it goes against all the Universes Beyond brand IP flying around. Finally, the most unique set revealed this weekend is mentioned Bloomburrowand it is the first all-animal aircraft in the history of Magic. The main characters featured in Narendra Bintara Adi’s key art (above) are a bat, a weasel, a mouse and a rabbit, in addition to the most adorable little magical tree frog I think I’ve ever seen. Here’s the official description:

Welcome to Valley, the rural and vibrant home of Bloomburrow’s animal people, Magic‘s first all-animal airplane. It is a place where great adventures await even the little ones, who are bold, curious and heroic, while those with more homely and peaceful desires can enjoy the quiet life.

But the peace of Valley is in jeopardy as the delicate balance of nature is threatened, and the elemental disaster beasts and the Great Night Owl endanger the lives of its inhabitants. The animal people will have to work together to defend their homes. Led by Mabel, a mousefolk mother and reluctant hero, a group sets out to investigate what happened in a neighboring town. Along the way they are joined by a remarkable companion from a distant land. In Bloomburrowbrave heroes and overwhelming disaster beasts will come face to face in a battle to restore the delicate balance of the land.

Bloomburrow previews start on July 9 and end on July 19. The digital release, via Magic: The Gathering – Arena, arrives on July 30 with a physical release on August 2 – just in time for this year’s Gen Con in Indianapolis.
