Marks & Spencer has begun selling footwear brands Skechers, Crocs and Toms as it ramps up its ‘Brands at M&S ​​platform’.

There are over 200 styles available on the website, with free next day pickup at over 700 locations.

Shoe retailers are the latest to join the website as M&S continues a turnaround plan to revitalize its fashion.

It has more than 60 brands on its site and tries to attract a wider range of customers. Its shoes sell well in the fall and winter, but it hopes to sell summer shoes just as well, such as the Skechers brand, modeled by Myleene Klass.

Richard Price, General Manager of Apparel and Home, said: “With the arrival of three global brands in the casual footwear category, together with a refreshed and reshaped private label offering, we are confident we have an attractive footwear offering.”

In his optimistic full-year results last week, chief executive Stuart Machin said the strong food division and revitalized apparel and home business “continued to grow sales and market share.”

Profits rose 21 percent to £475.7 million.
