Ms Jacky Oh! cause of death revealed: Wild ‘n Out star died as a result of complications from BBL aged 32  – and complained her head was ‘burning’ before shock passing

Reality star Mrs. Jacky Oh! died on May 31, 2023 at the age of 32 due to complications from cosmetic surgery.

The Wild ‘n Out personality (born Jacklyn Smith) died in Miami, Florida after getting a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) – with the star complaining that her head “burned” shortly before her shock death, according to an autopsy report obtained by TMZ.

Before her death, she announced she was going to Miami to get a “mommy makeover” but deleted the Instagram post.

Mum-of-three Jacky flew to Miami in May to undergo liposuction, which saw the fat transferred to her backside during the BBL procedure.

The surgery was completed on May 30, with the star prescribed Cliprofloxacin (an antibiotic), painkiller Oxycodone and the anti-nausea drug Ondansetron.

The star developed a headache shortly afterwards and went to her surgeon for a post-operative appointment.

She received a message to help with her pain and was advised to take ibuprofen and stop taking Ondansetron.

On the evening of May 31, Jacky started to feel like her head was ‘burning’ and had difficulty speaking.

Her aunt, who she was with, called 911, but Jacky became unresponsive before they arrived. She was pronounced dead at the hospital at 11 p.m.

The autopsy report states that Jacky had “swelling in her brain and extensive bleeding of the skin around her torso.”

Her surgeon Dr. Zachary ‘Dr. Zach’ Okhah previously took to Instagram in June to break his silence two weeks after her death.

Dr. Zach — who has sued former patients claiming he bungled their surgeries — posted a statement on his account, but made no mention of the 33-year-old talent or the incident.

The message to his nearly 97,000 followers began: “To all my past, present and future patients, PH-1 Miami remains committed to the highest quality medical care.”
