MrBeast’s post on X earned over $250K in one week – but how does it compare to his earnings on other platforms?
Popular YouTuber MrBeast earned over $260,000 in revenue thanks to his first X (formerly Tweet) video he posted on January 15.
The YouTube star, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, confirmed he made $263,655 in earnings a week after posting his first full-length X video on January 15.
Before that, he only posted full-length videos to one of his six YouTube channels, which earned him a net ad revenue of $1.4 million.
It’s unclear how much money creators can make from X users, but according to Yahoo Finance, rewards for YouTube videos range from $3,400 to $30,000 every million views.
MrBeast’s advertising revenue and viewership are just two of the many things that make up his $100 million net worth.

MrBeast announced the cash offer on the same day he posted a photo to
MrBeast’s X-post about the cash giveaway has already been viewed more than 100 million times and more than three million users have shared the tweet
MrBeast uploaded the original $1 vs. $100,000,000 car video to one of his YouTube accounts in September 2023.
The YouTuber listed thirteen cars he managed to get his hands on, from least to most expensive, and drove almost every vehicle, including a $100,000 Tesla and a $500,000 amphibious car.
MrBeast even managed to get his hands on the $30 million vehicle built by the founder of Ferrari for the founder of Ford and ride in the front seat of a beautiful $100 million red car.
While his videos may seem simple, producing each video also takes a significant budget.
The YouTuber earns $3 million per month from his YouTube videos, which is also the amount of money he needs for things like production costs and staff salaries.
If he decides to post another full-length video on

The $100 million car in the video, which came from a museum, was only allowed to be driven onto a bridge by a museum representative. However, MrBeast was allowed to sit in a passenger seat
Despite the viewership and revenue success, MrBeast noted in a tweet that he “thinks it’s a bit of a facade.”
“Advertisers saw the attention it got and bought ads on my video (I think) and so my revenue per view is probably higher than what you would experience,” he wrote.
A few YouTubers commented on the X post about his viewership, including Jack CouRage Dunlop.
Now that MrBeast is over $260,000 richer, he’s using that money to give away to 10 lucky X users on January 25th.
X-users responded to MrBeast’s tweet to give away money and joked about other cash offers, with one user even writing that the post is “going to make more money than the video ever made.”
MrBeast was apparently shocked by the earnings and feels that ‘it’s a bit of a facade.’ Aside from impressive revenues, MrBeast earned over 150 million impressions and over five million engagements
Social media users joke and say they will give away money to other users if they are the ones who win $25,000
“If I win I’ll give the $24,000 to someone who likes this answer, game on,” one X user wrote.
One X user apparently wasn’t in a joking mood compared to others when they wrote down what they recommended MrBeast do with the money.
“I recommend you spend your time actually making money instead of sitting in your aunt’s basement playing Mario Kart and pretending you have $250,000,” the X user wrote.
“And keep in mind that I have a four-figure checking account balance and a credit score that starts with a 6.”
