MrBeast knowingly hired a registered sex offender, ex-employee claims just weeks after trans co-host Ava Kris Tyson was forced to leave the channel over ‘grooming’ allegations

A former employee of YouTuber Mr Beast has accused him of knowingly hiring a registered sex offender, just weeks after his co-host Ava Kris Tyson was forced to quit amid allegations of grooming.

This comes weeks after a series of allegations of racism and sexually inappropriate comments made against Mr Beast.

In an interview with YouTuber DogPack404, former Mr Beast employee Jake Weddle made a new accusation against the YouTube star – whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson – accusing him of knowingly hiring a sex offender during his time there. However, these allegations have nothing to do with former co-host Tyson.

“Well, there was a known sex offender, a registered sex offender, a convicted sex offender on the registry and everything that worked there,” Weddle said in the clip, but he did not identify the person.

According to Weddle, Mr. Beas, who has an estimated net worth of $700 million, knew of the person’s alleged history of “doing some not-so-nice things with minors,” adding that Mr. Beast “covered up the fact” he worked there by having him wear masks in his videos.

However, Weddle said the person, who no longer works for Mr. Beast’s YouTube channel, was known internally as “Delaware.”

Since the interview, social media users have been trying to identify the person. Jake Franklin, who is also a former Mr Beast employee, went to X to confirm that the person was his brother-in-law.

“Here’s the truth. Yes, Delaware is my brother-in-law. Yes, he is an RSO. When he was 21, a 16-year-old girl accused him and others of SA when she was 11. Delaware took a plea deal. So there was no jail time, but he still had to register,” Franklin said.

He added that the incident took place in 2010 and that Delaware was only adopted by Mr Beast in 2017/2018.

He also noted that Delaware “sat down with Jimmy and Sue (Jimmy’s mother) and explained everything to them. So yeah, Kimmy knew.”

He added that Delaware was actually supposed to be the behind-the-scenes manager, but that he had been asked to collaborate on a few videos if needed.

Franklin also noted that Delaware was reluctant to cooperate with the videos and that is why he wore a mask.

Last month, Ava Kris Tyson, co-host of Mr Beast, left the popular YouTube channel with more than 300 million subscribers after responding to claims she had an “inappropriate” relationship with a child and apologising to “those who feel betrayed”.

She added that she did not want the allegations to affect the people who worked at MrBeast, “which is why I have distanced myself.”

Tyson allegedly sent racy messages to a minor she first met when the person was 13 and she was 20.

The two were reportedly introduced after the child won an online competition.

At the time, Tyson was known to YouTube fans as “Chris” because she had not yet transitioned her gender identity.

Tyson, who has a son with her ex-wife, is said to have communicated with the fan for years through public online forums before they met in real life when the teen turned 16.

The fan, now an adult, says he is not a victim and has defended Tyson, although he has admitted that some of the messages were “inappropriate” and “edgy.”

Since the relationship was revealed in a series of revealing videos and clips, several controversial posts from Tyson have surfaced.

Just days after Tyson’s departure, Mr Beast faced accusations of racism and sexually inappropriate comments after old videos resurfaced on social media.

In one of the videos, which X users claim were recorded in 2017, the YouTube star responds to fan comments that appear to be about the selling of black people.

The other features a clip from his appearance on the racy podcast Hot Wet Soup, in which he apparently asks the show’s hosts if they would like to have sex with the “Cash Me Ousside girl,” now better known as Bhad Bhabie.

The rapper was about 14 years old at the time of the interview, which means Donaldson was about 19 years old.
