Mr Lees Noodles Henking Coconut Chicken Laksa recall: Popular noodles sold at supermarkets pulled from shelves

A popular brand of instant noodles has been urgently recalled over fears that delivery drivers could become ill if they consume it.

Food Safety Australia New Zealand issued the warning on Tuesday for 65 gram packs of Mr Lees Noodles Henking Coconut Chicken Laksa.

Lots of the product with an expiration date of June 14, 2024 were found to contain an undeclared allergen, milk.

The noodles, manufactured by HenKing Foods Pty Ltd, have been sold at Harris Farm and independent supermarkets in NSW and Queensland.

They are also available nationally online and in vending machines in the ACT and NSW.

Food Safety warned people who have a milk allergy or intolerance ‘may experience a reaction if the product is consumed’.

“Consumers with a milk allergy or intolerance should not consume this product,” the recall reads.

Anyone who purchased one of the recalled batches can receive a full refund.

“All consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice,” the recall reads.
