The 34-year-old radio host will narrate the series Made in Korea: The K-Pop experience, in which he follows five singers on their journey to become the next boy band
For the first time, cameras will go behind closed doors at the K-Pop talent house to see the band collaborate with the world’s top choreographers and songwriters
The band members are Blaise Noon, 19, a former pupil at the BRIT school, Dexter Greenwood, 22, and James Sharp, a 23-year-old content creator from Huddersfield.
The other two members are Olly Quinn, 20, who was a choir singer as a child and is now venturing into the world of pop music, and Reese Carter, also 20, who previously worked as a cruise ship performer but is now pursuing his dream of being in a boy band.
In this six-part series, we follow Blaise, Dexter, James, Oliver, and Reese as they go through the K-pop training process with the goal of launching Dear Alice, a new boy band, onto the world stage.
For the first time, cameras will go behind closed doors at SM Entertainment, a K-pop talent house, to see the band collaborate with the world’s top choreographers, sing songs by top songwriters, and take lessons from some of the most respected experts in K-pop.
The series was filmed in South Korea and immerses aspiring pop stars in K-pop culture.
For 100 days, they will be subjected to the original K-pop training process, including choreography, singing and performance lessons, life coaching techniques and immersion in all aspects of Korean life, all set against the backdrop of Seoul’s beautiful landscapes and iconic K-pop locations.
Each week, the band’s progress is assessed by undisputed K-pop expert Hee Jun Yoon, the creative force behind some of the biggest K-pop bands of the past 20 years.
Meanwhile, Simon Cowell, known from X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, has been looking for the successor to One Direction. He admitted that there has not been a more successful group since then. The search will be shown in a Netflix documentary called The Midas Touch.

Simon Cowell has revealed his search for ‘the next One Direction’ will involve a ‘never-seen-before’ format, after a disappointing turnout for the first round of auditions
The music mogul recently went on the hunt for the next incarnation of the boy band after admitting there hadn’t been a more successful group since One Direction (pictured in 2014)
And on This Morning, Simon admitted he has “no idea” what the format for his show will look like.
He told Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary: ‘I have no idea how this is going to end because until we find the band it’s pretty much anything. But there is something I’m going to do halfway through that I’ve never done before. I’ll tell you more about that later.’
Vicks’ latest project comes after a summer of extensive travel, including vacations in Ibiza and Paris.
The star looked more in love than ever with her 40-year-old husband Calvin Harris, sharing a glimpse of her summer so far with a series of snaps of her long legs, not on Instagram.
One photo showed her daringly posing in a plunging gold mesh dress, featuring a fringed skirt and a halter neck, revealing her ample breasts.
Vick snuggled up to Calvin, who caught a glimpse of his muscular chest in a printed shirt he kept half-unbuttoned.
And the couple are said to be seen with a number of other famous faces, including rapper Flavor Flav, fellow Radio 1 DJ Arielle Free and Love Island star Olivia Attwood.
Vick also shared photos of herself giggling as she handed out a birthday cake to her youngest brother Gabe, 26.
To show off her jet-set lifestyle, she posted photos of herself in Paris and a Calvin performance in Ibiza.
