Move aside, Daniel Craig! AI creates the ‘perfect’ James Bond
>
While we know that James Bond will soon be getting a new look after Daniel Craig’s departure, it remains a mystery who will play the iconic spy.
But while we all dream of casting Idris Elba, Henry Cavill and Tom Hardy, an artificial intelligence (AI) tool has come up with someone completely new.
A video game company provided the DeepDream Al software with the current requirements for Bond, which were set up by producer Barbara Broccoli in August last year.
These were that the actor must be a British male under 40 and be over 5’10” tall.
With a seductive look, perfectly tousled haircut and chiseled jawline, the man who generated the AI is reminiscent of one of the bookies’ favourites.

This is Aaron Taylor-Johnson, a 32-year-old actor born in High Wycombe, so he certainly fits the bill for Eon Productions.
In November, after a successful audition, Aaron would be a top choice for the role.
“Aaron did a screen test to become the next Bond in September and producers and Barbara loved him,” a source told me. The sun at the time.
“He’s one of the frontrunners now.”
Aaron, who is married to Fifty Shades Of Gray director Sam Taylor-Johnson, 55, starred in the Kick-Ass movies, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Godzilla and Bullet Train.
He also has dark curly hair, piercing eyes, and the classic good looks synonymous with the spy, making him a dead ringer of the AI-generated Bond.
However, the new image, which shows a man in a crisp white shirt and straight black tie holding an old-fashioned camera, has one crucial giveaway.
If you look closely at his right hand, you’ll see that he appears to have five fingers on top of a thumb, and his own little finger and ring finger are also deformed.
People with too many or too few fingers seem to be the downfall of AI-generated images, as has been pointed out time and time again.
Twitter user @Rural_Anarchy Posted: ‘Soon the only way to know is to count the fingers. 5 and it’s real, 6 it’s questionable, 7 and it’s definitely AI generated.”
Unwind Media also prompted DeepDream Al to generate an image of the next ‘Bond Girl’, tasked with being a British actress in her mid-twenties and five-foot-two. The resulting image (pictured) showed a young woman with bright blue eyes and wavy blonde hair
This also bears a resemblance to Charlotte Kirk (pictured), a 30-year-old actress who, according to The Mirror, is the latest tip for becoming the next Bond girl.
The AI Bond was commissioned by game company Unwind Media The times that the image that bore “such a close resemblance” to Taylor-Johnson was thrilling.
It added, “It will be great if he actually gets the part now!”

The British starlet appeared in Ocean’s 8 alongside Sandra Bullock, as well as Vice and No Panic with a Hint of Hysteria.
