A beloved teacher has died after her car crashed off a cliff during a long weekend camping trip.
Josephine Lancaster, a teacher at Mount Pleasant Road Primary School, and her partner Ben Hall were on holiday with friends in Toombon, 200 km east of Melbourne.
The schoolteacher died Saturday when she lost control of her 4WD along Donnellys Creek Road and drove over a mountain top.
The young couple shared a passion for the outdoors with Mr Hall taking to social media to pay tribute to his girlfriend.

Rest in peace Josephine. You were truly the most amazing, loving, caring person I have ever met,” he wrote.
“You made me feel so special and always put the biggest smile on my face, just seeing you so happy lit up my whole day.
“You were taken from me way too soon and I’m so sorry you didn’t deserve it, fly high angel, you’ll always be in my heart.”
Ms Lancaster’s two passengers, a man and a woman, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
It took the towing crews five hours on Sunday to recover the car wreck.
Mrs Lancaster’s death brought Victoria’s annual toll to 144.
Police are investigating the collision.
