Six people have been taken to hospital after a horrific two-car crash near a busy intersection south of Adelaide.
Emergency services were called to Victor Harbor Rd, near the intersection with Mosquito Hill Rd in Mount Jagged, at around 2.45pm on Thursday following reports of a two-car crash.
One passenger suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken by helicopter to hospital, where he is now fighting for his life.
Four others were treated at the scene and taken to hospital.
Their condition and the severity of their injuries have not yet been released.
Motorists are urged to avoid the area as Victor Harbor Rd is closed in both directions between Goolwa Rd and Hindmarsh Tiers Rd.
“Motorists are advised to take an alternative route via Pages Flat Rd,” police said.
