A cyclist has died after colliding with a motorcycle on a scenic mountain road.
The 65-year-old man was killed on Saturday after colliding with the motorcyclist on Sir Samuel Griffith Drive in Brisbane’s Mount Coot-tha at 10.30am.
The Killarney man riding east on his bicycle died at the scene.
The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man from Fairfield, was taken to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in critical condition.
Anyone who witnessed the accident or has more information is asked to contact police.
Investigations are underway.
