Motorbike-riding terrorist randomly stabs six people while driving through Israeli town before being shot and arrested

A motorcycle-riding knifeman has randomly stabbed people while riding through an Israeli city, local media report.

The attack took place in the town of Hadera and police say the suspect was located and “neutralized” after fleeing.

Israeli police said six people were injured, two seriously, and confirmed it was a terror attack.

According to the Times of IsraelSecurity sources named the attacker as Ahmad Jabareen, 36, an Israeli citizen from the nearby Arab town of Umm al-Fahm.

The suspect allegedly stabbed people at four different locations before fleeing on his motorcycle.

According to police, the terrorist injured two people at the first location, a third at the second, another two at a third location and a sixth person at another in Hadera.

The attacker fled the scene as police gave chase before they could stop him.

Dramatic video circulating online appears to show a man wearing a motorcycle helmet surrounded by police.

He is shot and wounded before the officers jump on him and appear to detain him.

Paramedic Shaked Hajaj, who was present at the scene, reportedly said his team treated a “critically injured individual” with “stab wounds in multiple parts of his body and suffering from multi-system trauma.”

‘He was semi-conscious; We gave him life-saving treatment and evacuated him to hospital. We then returned to the site to continue treatment of other injured people.”
