Weeds gone! You no longer have to fear them in your garden with this mum’s homemade remedy that only costs 68p to make.
Emma Gill stunned the internet with her DIY weed killer that she used interchangeably stuff from her kitchen cupboard.
The mother shared a video of the cheap hack, in which she reported that within hours the weeds in her garden were dead, Manchester evening news report.
So, here’s how she did it…
To make the homemade solution, Emma Gill used table salt, distilled vinegar, and dish soap
She then poured the solution over her garden using a watering can – although she advised using a spray bottle would be better

To make the homemade solution, Mrs. Gill used table salt, distilled vinegar, and dish soap.
More specifically, she used a liter of white vinegar, three large spoonfuls of salt, three large spoonfuls of dish soap.
After mixing this solution, she decanted it into a watering can – although she advised that using a spray bottle would be better.
This is because she found that using a watering can “left quite a bit of salt residue until it rained.”
And within hours of dripping the mixture over her garden, she reported that the weeds were “visibly dead.”
She continued to say that the natural remedy is better than the store-bought ones and “cheaper, too.”
Depending on the kind you buy and whether you have a fairly large area to clean, bottles of weed control solution can now easily run into the double digits.
She even said her husband was impressed with the results, telling her that the mix she made worked much “better than the weed killer we used last time.”
