Mother of SEVENTEEN, 38, opens the doors to the mega mansion where she raises her enormous family – showing off multiple kitchens, home theater and even an in-house DAYCARE

A mother of 17 has given outsiders a glimpse into her hectic family life at their mega-mansion, which has its own nursery, home theater and multiple kitchens.

Nancy Young, who lives in the US, also has seven grandchildren, while twelve of her children still live at home.

The 38-year-old regularly vlogs about her hectic home life while dealing with both her adult and teenage children, up to and including her newborn son, who was born in October.

In a video posted earlier in January, the busy mom took people into her home she shared with her husband – who was not named and remained behind the camera – and their children who still lived at home.

“We’ve made a lot of changes to our house since our last home tour, including getting married and moving some older children and having new babies born,” she explained in the description of the home tour video, which she posted to her. Youtube Channel.

The busy mom, who previously said she and her husband had saved for “21 years” to buy their dream home, opened the front door to their entryway, which featured a grand spiral staircase and a music room for home office-slash-kids. the right.

Nancy then enters the huge kitchen and points out their large round dining table, with 10 chairs and two high chairs in the corner.

“I like having a round table,” she said. ‘WWhen everyone is up against it table for the meal, it feels like you’re closer to everyone.’

Nancy added that it was a joint effort to keep their home clean. She mentioned that her older children helped with cleaning and clarified that the family did not have a maid.

“I would love to have a maid, but our maid is me and my kids,” she joked.

Nancy added, “So (the table and lazy Susan) is clean because the kids cleaned it. If I clean it, it might look a little different.”

Although she doesn’t have a maid, the Young family has provided some extra help with the appliances, pointing out the two dishwashers in the kitchen and installing some extra shelving that slides out to save counter space.

“One thing I still want to do with my kitchen is I want to repaint my cabinets, but that will take a lot of work and be quite expensive,” she noted.

Through the kitchen you enter the laundry room, equipped with large washing units and a chest of drawers on the wall.

‘This makes it easy to change the children. We actually have a changing station on every floor of the house, so it makes it convenient and very convenient to change the kids when needed,” she explained.

She then showed the downstairs bathroom and noticed that the lights came on due to movement as children were constantly running in and out.

In the garage, Nancy showed off some extra storage space – and their giant minivan in which she transported their family – and explained that they had storage compartments, just like a school.

“(We have) cubbies for their coats and backpacks and stuff, so as soon as they get out of the car, they can put their stuff here,” she explained, showing off the open storage space.

They also use the garage for additional food storage, with more refrigerators and freezers for the large family.

On the other side of the kitchen is the large living room, with a large U-shaped sofa – which can fit the entire household – and a wall-mounted TV.

Nancy has placed more cards on either side of the TV for her giant brood so she can keep the house tidy.

“I absolutely love having these when the kids are doing their work. They find something that belongs to one of the kids, put their stuff in the trash, and at the end of the day they empty their own trash,” Nancy explained.

She continued: ‘That way the kids aren’t running to all the bedrooms to put things away, ruining everyone else’s rooms and taking them much longer to get to work, so everything stays in one central place and makes cleaning quicker go. .’

In the basement of the mansion, the Youngs have something most homes don’t: a daycare center; with a dramatic playground, indoor jungle gym and dressing up area.

“The kids love it,” she said enthusiastically, also pointing out a kitchen and bathroom downstairs.

“Another thing the kids probably love is the theater room. This was already included when we moved in… but it was nice to have.

“I wouldn’t have posted one if it wasn’t already there.”

There are also two bedrooms in the basement: one with a bunk bed, which two of her young daughters share, and another with a double bed that others share.

“I know a lot of people judge me for that, but that’s OK, that’s what they like,” she said, defending the choice.

Walking upstairs to the bedrooms, Nancy navigates a game room, complete with arcade games.

“Just to the side when you first walk upstairs, we have our nursery,” the mother noted.

The children’s room is connected to the master bedroom by a large bathroom – with a spa bath – that Nancy and her husband share.

Despite raising a huge brood, the couple still manages to exercise and show off their gym outside the bedroom.

The family also has an upstairs laundry room and another bathroom for their eight sons.

“We have two of our boys in daycare and we have three more boys here,” Nancy said as she stood in another bedroom. “We have two double bunk beds, so there are two boys in one bed and one boy in the other bed.”

However, the couple’s 16-year-old son does not share a room with anyone after their eldest son got married.

“Our oldest son got married and moved away, so he’s gone,” she explained.

Hundreds of people commented on the home tour, with many impressed by how organized Nancy and her family are.

“I love that your house is so well organized. Never apologize for a little mess when you have kids. Your kids look so happy and that is so important,” one user wrote.

‘I love that you have designated areas throughout the house for different things, and yet it doesn’t look busy. Great job managing this! Nice to see how you make your house suitable for a large family,” said another.

‘I absolutely love your house! The only thing I would do differently is that the youngest children would have to be on the same floor as me. You are truly blessed! Beautiful home!’ read someone else’s feedback.

In an earlier video, Nancy talked about the birth of her youngest son – and her fear that he would be born on Halloween.

“I was really hoping I wouldn’t have it that day,” she admitted. “I felt like if I had him on Halloween, he would look like a little alien or something.”

However, her youngest decided to make an early appearance and arrived two days early – on the 16th birthday of one of her sons.
