Mother of Georgia school shooter is ARRESTED on sickening charge

The mother of Colt Gray, the suspected shooter at Apalachee High School, has been charged with elder abuse.

Marcee Gray, 43, has been charged with exploiting an elderly woman after allegedly tying her then 73-year-old mother Deborah Polhamus to a chair.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported that the incident report stated that Gray tied up her mother and then left her there for almost a day to see her ex-husband.

According to the Atlanta newspaper, documents show that Gray was arrested in Barrow County on November 6, two days after her mother was found, and sentenced to 45 days in jail.

She had pleaded guilty to trespassing, using a license plate to conceal her car and causing damage to property.

Gray is the mother of Colt Gray, 14, who has been charged with murder after he opened fire at his Georgia school earlier this month, killing two students and two teachers.

On Monday, Gray was charged with exploitation and harassment of a disabled adult or elder, unlawful imprisonment, second-degree destruction of property and theft.

If found guilty, she faces up to 20 years in prison for the most serious charge: elder exploitation.

Police say she tied her mother to the chair, took her iPhone and smashed a bathroom mirror and the back door of her mother’s house.

A police report seen by the newspaper revealed that Gray became upset after her mother refused to go with her to confront her ex-husband Colin Gray.

The incident report states: ‘Marcee became upset and told Deborah that she was taking Deborah because she was going to kill her ex.

Deborah stated that she refused to go, at which point Marcee threw her against the wall, causing a cut in her left wrist.

“Marcee said that since Deborah wasn’t going, she would be tied to a chair and her phone would be taken away so she wouldn’t call anyone.”

Police arrested Gray on November 6 in connection with a separate incident and found her in possession of methamphetamine and fentanyl.

According to the news agency, Polhamus suffered an injury to her wrist and bruises on her arms and legs.
