Mother-of-five issues 'PSA to husbands everywhere' about their partner's Christmas stockings – shares video of the moment her shocked husband realized hers had been EMPTY for 10 years

A mother-of-five has posted a 'PSA for husbands everywhere' after documenting her partner's very awkward realization on Christmas morning when he realized his wife's stocking had been left completely empty.

Utah dad Josh Jones, 33, filmed his family opening their gifts during the 2021 holidays with his wife Aubree, and shared the now-viral clip on her TikTok late last month.

As he looked around his living room, inspecting presents, torn wrapping paper and the stockings for their then four daughters, plus the dog, he eventually noticed an empty sock draped on the couch.

“Whose is this?” he asked, before wondering out loud to Aubree, “Is this an extra?” while holding it up to show her.

Josh initially thought the stocking was an “extra” one while his family opened their presents

Aubree declared the video she posted late last month to be a “PSA for husbands everywhere.”

“No, that's mine!” she said, chuckling.

“Why is it empty?” he asked.

“I don't know, Santa didn't come for me!” she replied as the clip ended.

“It took him ten years to notice that it had been vacant all that time,” Aubree captioned the post.

The 31-second video has racked up more than a million likes and tens of thousands of comments in the weeks since it was posted.

Although Aubree did not appear outwardly upset at the time, countless women took to the comments section to express their anger and sadness on behalf of women around the world whose husbands forget to give them gifts at Christmas.

The Utah family consists of five daughters, and the couple is now expecting the arrival of their sixth child at any moment

Tens of thousands of viewers took to the comments to express their condolences for what they saw as Josh's grave mistake

'We women all felt that in our stomachs. That hurt,” echoed a second.

“The pain she hid behind that smile and chuckle,” chimed in a third.

“The mums create Christmas magic for everyone including the dog but are forgotten every year,” a fourth thought sadly.

“As a woman considering leaving, this broke my heart because it really hurts,” a fifth pointed out.

“Did he really ask her why it was empty,” yawned another.

“The little girl inside her felt so left out,” someone else commented.

But Aubree claimed he took over Josh's supervision of her stash for ten Christmases, and clarified in a later post that he had gotten her other presents.

'Everyone is more angry with my husband than I am. It's nice to have a stocking, but it didn't bother me. That's why I laughed when he pointed it out,” she wrote in the follow-up caption to a video showing her receiving other gifts from Josh.

“This was meant as a call out to other men who may not realize their wives don't have a stocking,” she continued.

“He forgot to fill my stocking, but he sure remembered to make me feel loved and special through gifts and many other things. Everyone can relax. This year he won't forget my stocking.'

Since Christmas 2021, the couple welcomed a fifth daughter, and Aubree is currently expecting the arrival of their sixth child any day now.
