A woman who claims to have seen a crucified Jesus Christ in the marrow of her clementine calls the discovery a divine sign that she was “doing the right thing.”

Jamie Thomas, 45, was mulling over a major move from Belfast, Northern Ireland, to Catterick, North Yorkshire – which would see her settle down, get married and get a new job in the same week – when she got what she was considering, the message of above.

The mother of five was on her lunch break when she took her snack away but saw the outline of a ‘little man’ – who on closer inspection appeared to be hanging from a cross – in the citrus.

She said the finding of the fruit had helped her reassure herself in the gigantic decision.

Jamie met her 48-year-old husband Daniel when she was a teenager, but the couple, despite being “best friends” for a long time, didn’t start until 2014.

They were then in a long-distance relationship for about four years.

After traveling back and forth to visit each other, Jamie ‘bit the bullet’ and decided to join him in 2018.

The former special education teaching assistant said the “sweet” discovery offered some reassurance in the “crazy” time.

She admitted that “doubts ran through her mind” about the clementine-shaped blessing.

‘two of us’ [a colleague] just laughed about it because we were like, “that’s definitely a sign I was doing the right thing,” she added.

Jamie said: ‘I grew up in Northern Ireland and I’m in the Church of Ireland and I was religious growing up.

“To be honest, the older I got, I started to get a little more religious. I don’t go to church or anything, but I believe in God.’
