On the map, countries are color coded to indicate the jobs their residents are most interested in learning about in order to pursue that career.
The sentence ‘how to be a pilot‘ was searched 432,360 times on Google in 2024, with the search tops in Egypt, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
This is evident from the research by financial services provider Remitlythe second most popular job in the world is lawyer, with 393,380 searches worldwide. The legal career is the most popular search in many countries, including France, Brazil, China and Spain.
Being a police officer ranks third worldwide (272,730) and is the number 1 dream career in both South Korea and Poland.
In England, Scotland and Northern Ireland’how to be a YouTuber‘ (13th globally, 171,840), is the most popular career search and also tops the list in Singapore, Indonesia and Fiji.
