An ultra-exclusive new gym and lifestyle club has opened in New York.
At $10,000 per month, Continuum is in the running to become the most expensive gym in the city.
And with a hard limit on membership – only 250 people are allowed to join – it is also one of the most exclusive.
CEO Jeff Halvey told The New York Post: ‘It is very different from anything that exists.’
Continuum, located at 676 Greenwich St, combines a luxurious lounge with a premier fitness center staffed by local health and nutrition experts.

Halevy said: “Our unique value proposition to remember is the integration of all these modalities at a very high level.
“We do the homework for everyone, not only in developing the programming, but also in putting together the actual experts who will work with them.”
Continuum says they allow a maximum of 250 VIP members.
After signing up, members undergo an onboarding assessment to test their VO2 max, body composition, blood panels and sleep quality.
The ‘knowledge set’ is then entered into an artificial intelligence system with which a specialist develops a personalized well-being plan.
They are then given wearable devices that track progress and the app updates recommendations in real time.
Halevy told The Post, “Exercise is just one lever in preventative health and wellness.”
‘All ours [trainers and physical therapists] have a master’s or doctorate degree in their field and also have at least five years of relevant experience.’
After a workout, members can relax with physiotherapy and massage, as well as medi-spa treatments, including the use of hyperbaric chambers, cold plunge exercises, floats and red light therapies.
Continuum is part of a growing trend for high-quality, full-service health schools.
Last month, Equinox launched a $40,000 annual membership designed to extend your life through personal training, nutrition plans, massage therapy and even sleep coaching.
Equinox has partnered with lab testing startup Function Health to launch ‘Optimize by Equinox’, making it one of the most expensive gym memberships in the world.
“It’s truly a paradigm shift in how we can live with vitality and avoid suffering,” says Jonathan Swerdlin, co-founder of Function Health.

CEO Jeff Halvey told The New York Post: “It’s very different from anything that exists.”
‘It’s about what’s above the surface, your abs and glutes, which you can see in the mirror and which are amazing. But it’s also about what’s beneath the surface and what you can’t see in the mirror. And that is revolutionary,” Swerdlin added.
‘Optimize by Equinox’ costs $3,000 per month for a minimum of six months, and when combined with standard gym membership fees, the total comes to $40,000 or more.
Regular old Equinox memberships are already quite pricey. If you want access to all 107 Equinox clubs worldwide, it will cost you $405 per month, or just under $5,000 per year.
The Optimize program begins with Function Health testing new members on 100 biomarkers: biological properties that indicate a possible risk of a disease.
The tests will measure members’ health levels in their heart, liver and kidneys and will even attempt to detect cancer markers.
