Mosman police operation near The Buena- with warning to avoid Prince Albert Street

A major police operation is underway in Mosman, one of Sydney’s most exclusive harborside suburbs, near The Buena pub.

Police are currently speaking to a man at the scene, but no arrests have been made yet.

Residents said Tactical Operations officers entered a home near The Buena Pub with high-powered rifles and very quickly removed a man.

“When the Riot Squad van arrived we were very worried, and the police had a loud megaphone that they used to warn the man that they were coming for him,” reports Mosman Collective.

Streets were closed off for some time and passengers were removed from buses.

Police told Daily Mail Australia there is no threat to the community, but residents are urged to avoid Prince Albert Street this morning.
