The famous Mormon TikTok mom who was arrested for domestic violence last week was arrested after throwing a chair at her boyfriend who ended up hitting her five-year-old daughter, new records reveal.

DailyMail.com first reported on the arrest of Taylor Frankie Paul in Utah on February 23, and her boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, refused to reveal what led to it.

He insisted that she “did not mean to hurt anyone” and said he was not the one who called 911, but declined to elaborate.

Now, it has emerged through court documents that he called the police on February 17 after Paul threw “heavy metal chairs” at him and “choked” him.

She threw her phone at him, causing him to “fear for his life,” according to records.

Taylor Frankie Paul, 28, was arrested on February 17 after throwing a chair at her boyfriend Dakota Mortensen. The chair struck her five-year-old daughter Indy, leaving her with a “chicken egg” on her head. The trio is shown in a video on Paul’s TikTok account, where he has four million followers.

The altercation was caught on video, according to the documents, but that has not yet been made public.

Court records say Mortensen told Paul to stop throwing things at her because he was standing next to her five-year-old daughter, Indy, but she kept going.

Eventually, one of the chairs struck the girl in the head, leaving her with a “chicken egg” injury, the records state.

It is unclear what sparked the altercation.

Paul was charged with felony aggravated assault and two felony charges of domestic violence in the presence of a child, along with misdemeanor child abuse and criminal mischief.

He will return to court on March 21.

Paul, a mother of two, was one of a group of couples in Utah who indulged in “soft swinging,” a practice in which partners are exchanged, but only with the understanding that they are not having full sex.

But last year she caused a sensation when she admitted she had broken the cardinal rule and ended up losing her husband Tate, who divorced her, and most of her friends.

She and Mortensen projected a happy and loved life on TikTok, where she has more than four million followers.

But last month he told DailyMail.com how their relationship turned violent.

She was booked on three misdemeanor charges: assault, criminal mischief, and domestic violence in the presence of a child.

Mortensen declined to say what caused her arrest, but blurted out: “She never intentionally hurt anyone.” Paul is pictured with his daughter Indy, five, and his son Ocean, two.

Paul had been at a ‘Galentine’s Party’, a women’s union event held around Valentine’s Day, and went to pick her up and take her back to her house.

“I’m not even allowed to talk to her,” Mortensen, 30, said. I don’t really want to talk about it, but I want to clarify a few things.

“I didn’t call 911,” he added, saying he thinks a neighbor may have called.

Mortensen, a real estate agent and head of a mosaic company who has his own popular TikTok account where he discusses his recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism, later added: “We don’t argue.”

‘I don’t even want the truth to come out. She is so broken right now. I tried to help her,’ she said.

‘She is a good mother, she is going through a lot in her life right now. Taylor has been struggling, it’s been a tough year for her. She is wracked with guilt over her cheating scandal that cost him her marriage.

Taylor admitted that he broke the exchange agreement with his friends early last year: “I got out of that agreement, that’s where I went wrong and obviously I’m losing everything I have.

Paul was abandoned by her husband and excommunicated by her group of friends after breaking the rules of their exchange agreement. Above, another of her videos.

She then suffered an ectopic pregnancy and lost the child she and Mortensen planned to have together.

She wrote to her followers in December, calling 2022 the “baddest year of my entire life.”

‘From a difficult marriage, to swingers, to divorce, to major loss of some family members, best friends, my part-time kids, trying to be in another relationship but can’t afford to be happy, to ectopic pregnancy to depression deep.

“In the meantime, millions of people watched it all and gave their beautiful opinions,” he added.

But she said she was hoping for a better New Year. ’23 is my number, so I’m thinking next year is my year.’

Taylor featured Mortensen on TikTok last July while she was still in the midst of her divorce.

Taylor shares two young children, Indy and Ocean, with her ex-husband, Tate.

She and Tate have two young children, Indy, 5, and Ocean, 2.

Mortensen says she thinks the arrest was a “low key” moment for Paul and that she will only get stronger.

‘She needs help, she hasn’t had time to process the termination of her marriage. She’s having a hard time forgiving herself for the swinger scandal. And she then she had an ectopic pregnancy.

“I love Taylor very much and I want to have a future with her,” he added.

He confirmed that they do not live together and rents an apartment about 20 miles from his home in Herriman.

We’ll have to run it through the system and see how it works. I have no idea when I’ll be able to see or talk to Taylor again. It can be days, weeks or months.
