Morgan Wallen fans BOO Taylor Swift after country star makes a joke about setting attendance record in Indianapolis

Morgan Wallen’s joke about Taylor Swift during his concert in Indiana backfired on Friday night.

The 30-year-old singer, who followed the hitmaker’s lead in re-recording some of his previous work, kicked off his One Night At A Time tour at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Thursday.

When the country crooner took a break on the second night to thank the crowd for coming out to support him, he bragged a bit.

“This is the most attended concert in the history of this building, and we are the first to do this two nights in a row,” the Last Night singer told the audience, who responded with loud whoops and applause.

Good-humoredly, he continued, “I’m going to say that until Taylor Swift comes to town.” However, the crowd was not amused as they booed at the mention of Swift.

Some in the crowd cheered, but the majority began loudly booing the sentiment and shouting out opposing opinions.

Morgan tried to appease the crowd and show that there was no animosity towards Swift.

“We don’t need to boo, we don’t need to boo,” he told the crowd, who continued to express their displeasure.

Not knowing what to say next, he thanked his fans for their support.

“You’re all too much. I’m a Morgan Wallen fan and a Swiftie,” one commenter wrote.

“I’m a fan of both and won’t compare their success as they are both very successful singers,” another claimed.

‘I love Morgan! He will always have a fan in me, but many of his fans are questionable,” one fan wrote.

‘lol I’m a Swiftie too!! I love seeing my favorite artists flourish and not tear each other down!”

Morgan himself appears to be a fan of the superstar. Video from one of his 2022 concerts shows the singer and audience singing faithfully, if not melodically, Swift’s hit All To Well
