Speaking about his ongoing One Night At A Time Tour, he added that there would be no postponements or cancellations.

“As far as my tour is concerned, there will be no change,” he explained before signing off with just his initials.

He will perform this weekend on Saturday, April 20 at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Mississippi.

The following week, Wallen travels to Indio, California to perform at Stagecoach.

After performing at a musical festival, he returns to Nashville for a three-day stint at Nissan Stadium.

It was previously reported that he could face a long prison sentence after the incident.

According to an arrest affidavit, the chair landed about three feet from officers, who spoke to witnesses and reviewed security footage.

Witnesses told officers they saw Wallen pick up a chair, throw it over the roof and laugh about it.

Wallen, who was released after posting $15,000 bond, could face up to six years behind bars, a legal expert said Fox news.

“The felony charges are the most serious and could land Wallen in prison for up to six years if he is prosecuted and convicted of these charges,” former New York City prosecutor Rither Alabre told the network.

“The reckless endangerment counts could have been charged as felonies, which would have made them less serious and exposed Wallen to a maximum of 11 months and 29 days in prison,” he added.

The incident led to accusations that Wallen was distraught after learning that his former fiancée, KT Smith, had secretly eloped.

“A reckless endangerment count may be charged as a Class E misdemeanor if the alleged act was committed with a deadly weapon,” Alabre continued, noting that police alleged the chair ended up in close proximity to officers and other revelers.

“For the reckless endangerment charges, Wallen faces no less than one year and no more than six years in prison.”

“It seems unlikely that charges against Wallen would be dismissed entirely as, according to some reports, police viewed a video of Wallen ‘lashing out and throwing an object over the roof’ and some witnesses claim they saw him throw the chair,” said Alabre. added.

“Given these allegations, the next steps would be for Wallen’s attorney to engage with prosecutors and attempt to resolve this case with a plea to a lesser charge, either a misdemeanor or possibly even a lesser charge where he would receive little or no would not receive a prison sentence. the lawyer continued.

On Monday, fellow countryman John Rich gave some advice for Wallen on Twitter.

“I can’t help but remember all the destructive, crazy things I did early in my career,” wrote Rich, one half of the duo Big & Rich.

‘The combination of intense pressure, expectations and exaggerated success is a dangerous cocktail.’

“Thank God I had great mentors who helped me out of that mindset, and I hope Morgan has some people around him who care enough about him to help him find a new approach to life,” Rich wrote.

‘It takes a lifetime to build what he built, and a second to destroy everything. I hope he will turn the tide,” he concluded.

One fan commented on the original post saying, “Fame drives some people insane. Something is going on in his life. Surrounded by yes, friends don’t help.’

“It could be toxic,” Rich replied.

Wallen’s attorney, Worrick Robinson, confirmed the arrest late Sunday and said the singer was fully cooperating with authorities. He was released and his court hearing is scheduled for May 3.

Wallen is one of the biggest names in the country today. His third studio album, 2023’s One Thing at a Time, was the most consumed album in the US last year.

It spent 16 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 in 2023 — meaning it spent 30 percent of the year at the top spot, more time at No. 1 than any album since Adele’s 21 dominated more than a decade ago.

It featured several top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100: Last Night, You Proof, Thinkin’ Bout Me, Thought You Should Know and Don’t Think Jesus

In 2021, the country singer was suspended indefinitely from his label and saw his music pulled by radio stations and streaming services after a video surfaced of him shouting a racial slur.

As a result, he was disqualified or restricted from several award shows and received no Grammy nominations for his best-selling Dangerous: The Double Album.

In 2020, he was arrested on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct after being kicked out of Kid Rock’s bar in downtown Nashville.

Wallen posted on social media at the time that he and some friends were “playing horses” after a few bar stops.

“We meant no harm and would like to apologize to the bar staff or anyone affected,” Wallen wrote on X. “Thank you to the local authorities for their professional attitude and their work with class. Love you all.’
