A Morgan Stanley banker is suing his estranged wife for $7 million, alleging that she forced him out of his job by harassing him with abusive emails his bosses had access to, falsely accusing him of sleeping with prostitutes and contracting prostitutes as a result. sexually transmitted diseases.

Jean-Charles Beriau, 47, and his orthodontist ex-wife, Thea Shive, 65, are in the middle of a bitter divorce battle on Long Island.

He also allegedly contacted his new clients and told them that he was being investigated for securities fraud.

In the emails, Shive, who previously ran an orthodontic practice in Queens, also claimed he was seeking treatment for “herpes, syphilis, trichomoniasis and various other issues,” according to documents obtained by The New York Post.

Since his superiors had access to his emails, as is common practice in finance, he says the allegations forced him to leave.

He also claims that they sparked an investigation into his new job.

It is unclear what prompted their divorce.

The couple married in 2005 and lived in upscale Oyster Bay, an affluent Long Island suburb, in a modest home near the water.

Beriau’s lawyer pleaded with a judge to help them settle the divorce amicably, but he says his wife continues to abuse him, despite an order prohibiting him from contacting.

In one of the emails, she is said to have told him: ‘[It] It seems that you do not want to get a divorce and you are dragging it out endlessly.

‘I will never take you back, you are disgusting. I know you have bipolar disorder and a traumatic brain injury and you are not able to think rationally.

In another, he vomited: “There is no greater proof of his serious mental illness than the fact that he continues to use my address when receiving treatment for STDs.”

His lawyer testified in court that the emails were full of fabricated claims.

‘The content of the emails was completely fabricated and false.

‘Those emails to him were out of left field. And he is a very patient and very professional gentleman who thought this would go down, but it didn’t,” said Karen McGuire, his attorney.

Now, Beriau lives in a $4,350-a-month bachelor's apartment in New York City.

‘He wanted to respectfully part with his wife. This did not have to be this way, but it was so, ”he added.

One Flicker account shows Beriau, an avid big game hunter, posing with some of his game during his trips to Africa.

He now lives in a Manhattan bachelor’s apartment that costs $4,350 a month.

Neither Shive nor his lawyers have commented on his legal claims.

Beriau worked at Merrill Lynch for 16 years before joining Morgan Stanley in May of last year.
