Morgan Fairchild is mourning the loss of her fiancé, who passed away on July 7.
The actress, 73, who recently revealed she had two hip replacement surgeries, shared the news of his death in a warm memory on social media Friday.
#Sad news. I’m sorry to let you know that my beloved life partner and fiancé, Mark Seiler, passed away last Friday,” the General Hospital star wrote alongside an undated photo of their early days together.
She continued: “He had Parkinson’s for several years but it seems to be #longcovid that killed him after his third infection.”
Referring to the man she had spent more than three decades of her life with, Fairchild recalled, “He was a warm, brilliant, and very funny man, and I am devastated.”

The All Good Things actress has demonstrated her continued advocacy for wearing a mask in multiple social media posts.
“Sending love to you all,” she said as she closed the sad message.
Journalist Debra Roberts joined thousands of fans in expressing condolences, writing, “I am deeply sorry for your loss. What joy he seemed to inspire! May the memories sustain you.’
Actress Susan Blakely wrote, “Oh Morgan, I’m so sorry. I can’t imagine how difficult and painful this must be for you.’
Morgan and the met and began dating in 1980, and he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2016.
The Days of Our Lives alum revealed that in June 2020, the early months of the Covid pandemic, her partner was treated in a nursing home while staying home alone.
“They take very good care of him there,” the diva said during the day Closer.
