Last weekend, several ugly fights broke out at the San Diego Padres’ ballpark during their Opening Day series against the San Francisco Giants, just a day after a woman punched a man in the face at the venue.
Two fights took place between a group of men in the concourse of Petco Park on Saturday, as seen in a viral video circulating on X during or after the Padres’ 9-6 loss to the Giants.
Footage shows a man, wearing a gray sweatshirt, sitting on top of another man in a brown shirt as he wraps his right arm around him in an attempt to strangle him, despite ultimately not doing so.
‘Stay down!’ a stadium employee is heard shouting as he tries to defuse the situation.
At that point, the camera panned to two other men engaged in another fight nearby.

In a third brawl, a man punched another man while putting his knee on his back
One of them, wearing a long-sleeved shirt and jeans, appeared to throw a few punches at his opponent, who was wearing shirt No. 44.
At one point the latter went to the ground, but that didn’t stop the other man from still physically hurting him.
The video then showed two other men fighting.
